The market moves quickly, consumer preferences are constantly changing, materials evolve, machines develop and regulations require adaptation. Delba moves with the times. We adapt existing packaging machines, upgrade functionality and develop solutions that can be used flexibly for different film types, speeds and product variants. No rigid systems, just customer-focused technology.
Delba does not think in terms of products, but in terms of solutions.
Whether it concerns sealing problems, cutting challenges, new and/or sustainable films or increasing output: we analyse, test, design and solve. Practical, well thought-out and directly applicable in the installation. Always with a focus on continuity and efficiency.
Delba develops today the solutions for tomorrow. We actively take into account the transition to sustainable packaging films and European regulations towards 2030, including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Our tooling and machine upgrades are suitable for new monomaterials, recyclable compositions and associated complex and changing sealing properties.
In this way, we not only help customers to comply with legislation, but also to produce in a future-proof manner.
Precision, durability and reliability form the basis of everything Delba develops and manufactures. Our solutions must perform at high speeds, with minimal tolerances and maximum load capacity.
On-site service & testing in our experience center
Not every problem can be solved from behind a desk. That is why Delba offers on-site service: when parts cannot easily be sent or when a situation is complex, we come to you. One of our specialists measures parts and applications directly on site, analyses the problem in the line and translates this into a suitable technical solution. This way, we avoid assumptions, speed up the process and increase the accuracy of the end result.
Lees meerDelba was founded in 1986 by its then owner, Mr T. Peters. He named the company after his three children: Dennis, Ellen and Bas. In its early years, Delba focused primarily on the packaging industry in the Benelux and Germany. The company started in Didam and later moved to Duiven, where it purchased a building with sufficient space for future growth.
In 2008, Mr D. Peters took over the company from his parents. He focused on Delba’s core activities and expanded the company internationally by exploring foreign markets and visiting trade fairs. This resulted in strong growth outside the original markets in the Benelux and Germany.
Since 2008, there has been continuous investment in modern machinery, IT infrastructure and automation. At the same time, there has been a strong focus on craftsmanship and employee development. A new ERP system was also implemented, making processes more manageable and efficient — from order to delivery.
Due to continued growth, production capacity became insufficient to meet demand. Mr Peters therefore saw opportunities to start a second production location in Poland. In October 2013, Tegeno was founded, named after his three children (Te) from Teun, (Ge) from Geeke and (No) from Noortje. Production started there that same year.
During this period, the company was further optimised through organisational improvements, such as reducing lead times, more efficient logistics and improved purchasing processes. In 2018, Tegeno moved to new premises in order to further increase production capacity in Poland and phase out production in the Netherlands. Delba moved from Duiven to a location in Zevenaar.
Mr Peters has decided to sell his shares in Delba and is seeking a strategic partner who understands the company and can help it grow further. His vision is that operations will gradually be relocated to Poland and that the current locations will provide scope for further growth and development.
Following the acquisition by Newport Capital, a serious start was made on building the USP Group.
With a clear buy-and-build strategy, several companies were added to the group in the years that followed.
The name will be changed to USP Polska.
The name will be changed to Delba and we will be rebranding.
